Abacus Stars Academy: A Student-Friendly Abacus Learning App
Abacus Stars Academy wanted to take abacus-based maths learning beyond the classroom and put it in every child's hands. We built a simple, colourful and safe learning app for primary school kids, now live on Google Play, that makes building speed, accuracy and focus in maths something children actually enjoy.

The Challenge
Abacus training works best with regular practice, but most children only practise during class hours. Parents and teachers needed a way for kids to keep learning at home, at their own pace, without handing them an app full of distractions, ads or data collection.
Abacus Stars Academy needed a product that was:
Simple enough for primary school children to use on their own
Focused on real abacus-based learning, not just random math games
Safe for kids, with privacy that parents can trust
Our Approach
We started by understanding how children learn abacus step by step, and then turned that into guided lessons and practice activities inside the app. Every screen was designed for small hands and short attention spans: clear visuals, big buttons and a friendly flow that a child can follow without help.
Privacy was part of the design from day one. The app is built to follow Google's Play Families Policy, and its listing declares that no user data is collected or shared with third parties.
